Steun de componisten van #90seconds!
Een toneel zonder musici, een concertzaal zonder muziek. Dit was de realiteit in de afgelopen Corona-maanden. Gelukkig mogen er weer voor kleine groepen concerten worden gegeven. Maar nog lang niet iedereen kan, mag of durft. Om die muziekliefhebbers te bedienen is Matangi het #90seconds project begonnen.
Matangi zoekt verdieping en artistieke invulling van het online kunstenaarschap in deze tijden van isolatie en eenzaamheid.
Gebaseerd op de roman ‘Melodien’ van Helmut Krausser, is Matangi Quartet op zoek naar de in het boek 26 verloren gewaande ’geheime melodieën’ met mysterieuze helende krachten. Componisten van over de hele wereld doen mee in deze zoektocht en componeren een melodie in een stuk van 90 seconden voor strijkkwartet.
Matangi neemt de composities op in samenwerking met NTR Radio 4, filmt het en zet het op social media en andere online platforms om deze mysterieuze melodieën te kunnen delen. Op deze manier hoopt Matangi met de componisten zoveel mogelijk muziekliefhebbers te bereiken met inspirerende nieuwe klanken.
Om de componisten een eerlijke gage te bieden, zijn we een crowdfundingsactie gestart. Alle donaties zijn welkom en al vanaf €10,- zijn er leuke tegenprestaties van Matangi! (Wat te denken van een zakje Tulipa Matangi bollen)

Support the composers of #90seconds!
A stage without musicians, a concert hall without music. This has been the reality in the past Corona months. Fortunately, concerts can again be given for small groups. But by no means everyone can, should or dare. To serve those music lovers, Matangi started the # 90seconds project.
Matangi seeks deepening and artistic interpretation of online artistry in these times of isolation and loneliness.
Based on Helmut Krausser's novel Melodien, Matangi is looking for the secret melodies with mysterious healing powers which are believed to be lost. Composers from all over the world participate in this quest and compose a 90-second melody for string quartet.
Matangi records it in collaboration with NTR Radio 4, films it and then posts it on social media and other platforms to share these mysterious melodies. In this way, Matangi hopes to reach as many people as possible within 90 seconds together with the composers.
To offer the composers a fair wage, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. All donations are welcome and from € 10,- there are nice offers from Matangi! (How about a bag of Tulipa Matangi bulbs)
