Targets:

The aim of the foundation is to promote the practice of music - in particular of the Matangi Quartet - and thus make possible annually 2 to 4 projects with a specific theme and possibly for a specific target group. These are often projects in which education and talent development or social cohesion play a role. To achieve this, we are also looking for collaboration with other musicians / artists (for more information, see the policy plan in the pdf).

In its remuneration policy, the Matangi String Quartet Foundation follows the Collective Labor Agreement for Music Ensembles of March 2022, and does not pay salaries or allowances that even remotely approximate the standard set in the WNT.
The board of the Matangi String Quartet Foundation performs its duties without remuneration.
