Dag van de Componist - New Music NOW
On Saturday June 18, 2022, New Music NOW organizes the first Composer's Day. A celebration of new music. Music by composers active in the Netherlands can be heard throughout the country: not only in concert halls and theatres, but also from church towers, on the street and in living rooms. The NTR and VPRO cover it live and New Music NOW streams concerts and interviews all day long. Reporters from all over the country report on Composer's Day.

As an ensemble from The Hague, Matangi will perform a selection from the series #90seconds that day at 5 pm in the Kloosterkerk. With these compositions, the quartet gave meaning to online artistry in times of lockdowns and social distancing. This concert is part of the concert with Ensemble Klang, organist Geerten van de Wetering and Matthijs Koene, pan flute.
