In our series Moments with Matangi we have a very nice and special program.
With the young and talented Viride Quartet we perform two masterpieces from the repertoire for two string quartets.
Shostakovich's boisterous and savage string octet and Mendelssohn's brilliant string octet.
Making music with our young friends from the Viride Quartet is very special.
We have been playing with them for a while now, and characteristic for them, besides playing beautifully, is the enthusiasm and fun they always bring during rehearsals and concerts.
You are very welcome in the Nieuwe Kerk Den Haag and Amstelkerk Amsterdam, to experience how infectious this joy of playing is to us and to the audience.
