Moving Talent: From Talent to the Stage

We are on the threshold of an exciting new adventure: a prestigious collaborative programme with the International Holland Music Sessions (IHMS) called Moving Talent.

As part of this ambitious talent development programme, we will intensively coach three young classical musicians, a violist, cellist and pianist, with the aim of bringing together tradition and innovation in classical music.

The concert series will take place in the Recital Hall of The Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and highlights the passion shared by IHMS and Matangi: supporting young musicians as they make the transition from talent to the stage.

Norwegian violist Sunniva Skaug follows Dvořák to America
Violist Sunniva Skaug places Dvořák’s String Quintet in the context of his years in America. Through folk music and excerpts from his letters, she brings his sources of inspiration to life.
