Vacancy 2nd violinist Matangi

Matangi is looking for a new second violinist to join the string quartet. The ensemble gives between 50 and 70 concerts a year, gives masterclasses, organizes educational projects and records a new album every year.

As a member of Matangi you opt for an existence full of rehearsing, performing and recording, for diverse repertoire during concerts, performances and (educational) projects. You are also expected to contribute to the artistic direction of the quartet and to take responsibility with us to further develop Matangi.

We are looking for a talented and dedicated violinist with a strong background in classical music who is open to new inspiration and different musical styles. Experience playing in a quartet or other chamber music ensemble is essential.
