Matangi Quartet will present a new edition of the Moving Music Festival on Saturday, 24 January 2026. After eight successful editions of the Unheard Music Festival and a jubilee year, the spotlight now turns to the Slovak composer Vladimír Godár: a unique, introspective musical voice that is rarely heard live in the Netherlands.

Matangi is celebrating its 25th anniversary with the jubilee program 'In Transit'. The quartet will honor its classical roots while contributing to the (Dutch) string quartet canon with a new composition by Robin de Raaff.

A final letter—what do you include in it? It doesn’t always have to be a farewell letter between people. It might also be a goodbye to a feeling, period, or phase of life. Rich with inspiration from this thought, Matangi and Ruben Hein took up the pen and collaboratively created a song cycle called ‘P.S.’

Thirty years after the release of the legendary album 'The Juliet Letters' by Elvis Costello and the Brodsky Quartet, Matangi and Ruben Hein present a 21st-century response to this masterful song cycle. Inspired by the collected Dutch letters from the book P.S. by Jet Steinz, Matangi and Ruben have created new songs that add a contemporary chapter to the world of multidisciplinary music experiences.
