Traditionally, we play the Matangi Moments in the Nieuwe Kerk in The Hague and in the Amstelkerk in Amsterdam.

In the third quarter of 2022, Outcast is nominated for the 'Bestenliste' in the internationally highly regarded 'Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik'.

Recently Gramaphone published a fantastic review about our album Outcast. Author Ivan Moody calls it a truly outstanding release, thanks to the infallible ear of Bert van der Wolf, the recording brings out every detail of their playing throughout.

We believe that talent development is very important. That is why we are very proud to announce that we have entered into a partnership with the Princess Christina Competition.

Friday 20 May and Sunday 22 May we will be playing our last Matangi Moments weekend of this season and we have something very special in store for you. In the program 'Beethoven vs Piazzolla' these two composers who do not always color within the musical lines and who do not allow themselves to be tamed by musical rules are being played.

This year we again received a large number of photos of the Tulipa Matangi in bloom. Of course this is a fantastic way to stay in touch with our audience even more, but it is also just great fun to view all those different photos. That is why we have created a page on our site where a large part of these photos can be seen so that everyone can enjoy them.
